To implement earnestly President Xi Jinping's instructions on the construction of spiritual civilization recently, Heilongjiang university attaches great importance to cultivating people through culture and literature. From May 23rd to May 25th,  the 2nd lawn music festival was held  to send off graduates in 2025 and gather the vigor of youth on campus. Held by the Youth League committee of Heilongjiang university, the activities include four parts: musical performance, street dancing, graduation campus run and graduation concert, drawing over 100,00 faculties and students to participate in, sending best wishes to graduates and leaving unforgettable memories to the campus.

On the night of May 23rd, 2025 graduation campus concert unveiled in Liantong square. Winners of Heilongjiang university instrument competition give heartfelt performances. From gentle folk music to bright animation songs, from melodious Chinese style music to passionate pop music, all of those diverse music mingle together and constitute a special movement of graduation season. Standing or sitting on the lawn, with warm wind blows, audiences sway to the beat.

On May 24th, the 20nd killer street dancing performance kicked off successfully in the number 2 playground. When rhythmic beats meet with youthful vigor , performers display their love for dancing. Performances that lasted for hours not only demonstrated youthful spirits of HLJU students, also showed faculty and students’ deep affections for the campus.

On the afternoon of May 25th,  ‘Summertime dopamine’ graduation run begins with a bang. Running on the track decorated with colorful bubbles, paper planes and beautiful streamers, students set free the passion and courage of their youth, stretch out body and soul, and stride across campus to revisit every treasured memory. With a topic on sports, the activity aimed to praise the high-spirited teenagers who are relentless in their pursuit of a bright future.

On the night of May 25th, 2025 graduation season summer concert pushes the music festival the high tide. Through beautiful voices, campus singers told the story of youths. Stage lights and rainfalls interwoven, with each hand in light stick, audiences sing in sync with performers. Light shining on each one’s face, every one of them becomes a protagonist and has a future of infinite possibilities.

By means of music, this current music festival inherit the spirits of Heilongjiang university, cultivate deeply-rooted love for family and country, engrave special school symbols on graduates’ heart, and joint great momentum into students still at university to move ahead. Compared with the 1st music festival in 2024, this event is characterized with more diverse performances, attracted more than 100,00 audiences and had a significantly increased influence. Through multi-cultural display and exchanges, it also established coordination with the 3rd international cultural festival of Heilongjiang university for the first time, further broaden international horizon of music festival and provide an intercultural feast for all faculty and students.
